Happy Fathers Day Dad!

Stopped by to say hello to Dad on Fathers Day. Kelly and Troy brought over an ice cream cake. Visited with Dad and Mom for about an hour and then headed home.

Well, the streets of Fond du Lac flooded. This pushed our departure time for our trip WAY back. Hopefully everyone is OK. I stole these pictures from Kelly so that I would post the scoop first. Enjoy these photos of a very Katrina-like Fond du Lac. And don't forget, check Keeping Up With Mac for the latest breaking news.

Sarah's Last Visit in 2007

It's rainy outside again. Today I leave for Ohio. Getting a much later start than I had hoped. Because of a lack of photos, here are some from Sarah's last trip to America. We drove her up to the airport in Green Bay. The flight was delayed, then delayed, then delayed.
When this picture was taken, Kelly and Sarah had no idea that we were going to be spending the next 10 hours together.
Kelly and Sarah show off their "special friend" rings. Personally, not quite sure what "special friend" means.
We all had a little breakfast at the airport. Eventually, boredom drew us into the bar, and then towards a deck of cards.
The flight was canceled and we were told Sarah's best bet to get out of the country would be to go directly to Chicago (where the connecting flight was supposed to go). This picture shows Sarah and Kelly hastily exiting the airport in Green Bay.

Then we had a speedy drive from Green Bay down to Chicago. The good news is that Sarah was able to get a flight out of Chicago and we got to spend a few more hours with her.

Ohio Vacation Quickly Approaching

Tomorrow I'm leaving for Ohio for the weekend. We're going to do a "Ghost Hunt" at the Mansfield Reformatory. The prison has been empty for over a decade. Some claim that the place is haunted. Last Summer, Tony, Joel, and I went and took a short tour. It was daylight on a Sunday and we left the place scared. This Friday is going to be even more scary. They give you a brief tour at dusk and then all power to the building is shut off and you're free to roam the whole prison throughout the night. We booked our tour for Friday the 13th. Here are some pictures from our trip to OH last year. The first section are all pictures from the reformatory.

June 8 ,2008

We started loading our equipment in the rain, wondering the whole time if the show would be canceled. The people at Walleye Weekend said everything was still on.
Coincidently, Tony, Tom and I all chose to wear a shirt with a bird on it.
The show got canceled so we headed over to Dad's birthday party. Kelly made a great cake.

Good times hanging out.
Happy Birthday Dad!
