Today I saw The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at the Performing Arts Center in Appleton, WI. I'd like to give a brief review of the performance.
At about 7:35 a lady with blonde hair came walking down the aisle. She carried a big trophy in her hand and chatted to people as she walked towards the stage. The house lights were still on so some people were unaware that the performance had begun. She gets onto the stage and everyone quiets down as they realize things are under way.
The lady introduces herself as a former spelling bee champion. She starts to read names of the people competing and instructs them to come onto the stage. Mixed in with the performers are normal people that came to see the play. Rachelle Monek from channel 11 news was one of them.
After everyone is sitting on the bleacher, we are introduced to the "enforcer" who is a former thug doing community service. We also meet the strange assistant principle. To make a long story short, it's a spelling bee with singing and comedy.
Overall, I thought it was good. In the end it felt like it was missing something. Although good, I don't know if I could sit through it again.

Took the day off from work. Went to the gym to work out.....
Locked my keys in the car. Had to call Mom to call Clarissa to bring my spare key. (cell phone was locked in the car and I only know a couple numbers off the top of my head)

Did some shopping and then scanned pictures for a few hours.

I guess it's that time of year again. My back wants to send a special word of thanks out to the snowplow that pushed all of this rain soaked snow into the driveway.

Kelly and I stopped by for a visit with Grandma Mac. We helped her make her bed. Also hung up some Christmas decorations.

Hung out with Kelly at school while she finished some projects.

Visited the parents. They just got their Christmas tree....

and so did Tony and Clarissa.
